Kylie Bent is the March Employee of the Month. She is an ACP teacher at Beatrice Elementary.
She is a caring, dedicated educator who consistently pushes to ensure her students receive what they need to be successful. She works tirelessly to help students accomplish their goals and, when obstacles arise, she problem-solves creatively to help them make meaningful progress. Her commitment to student growth is evident in both her actions and her mindset—she never settles for “good enough” when she knows more is possible for those she serves.
Beyond her work with students, she is always willing to help others. She supports not only her students, but also her colleagues, offering assistance, encouragement, and a positive presence whenever it is needed. Her teamwork and reliability strengthen the entire school community. Recently, Mrs. Bent’s class has helped take on our paper recycling project.  It is a great way to practice skills for her students.  
She is a hard worker and an all-around great person with a genuine, caring heart. Even when challenges arise, she perseveres with determination and optimism. She consistently puts her heart into her work, making a lasting impact on students, staff, and the school as a whole. Her dedication and compassion truly embody the qualities we value in our Employee of the Month.
The Beatrice Educational Foundation, along with the help of our Head of the Class Sponsors, want staff members throughout the district to know how much we appreciate the work they do each day to help students. Thank You to our Head of the Class Sponsors: Beatrice Community Hospital; Leigh F, Jane M, and Leigh M Coffin Family Foundation; Garnett Investments; Pinnacle Bank; Security First Bank; and Sunrise Bakery.  Kylie Bent received a plaque and $100 in Beatrice Bucks. This is a joint effort with Beatrice Public Schools.
