Every afternoon, when the final school bell rings, learning doesn’t have to stop.
At BLAST—Beatrice Learning After School Time—students continue to discover, create, laugh, and grow. They build things, explore science, create art, solve problems, read books, play games, make friends, and discover talents they never knew they had. They are surrounded by caring adults who encourage them to ask questions, try new things, and believe in themselves.
That’s the ABCs of BLAST.
A is for Action.
Children learn best by doing. Whether conducting a science experiment, building with LEGO® bricks, creating artwork, or participating in physical activities, BLAST transforms afternoons into hands-on learning experiences that inspire confidence and excitement.
B is for Belonging.
Every child deserves a place where they feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged. BLAST provides a safe, supportive environment where friendships are formed, mentors invest in young lives, and every student knows they matter.
C is for Curiosity.
Curiosity is the beginning of lifelong learning. BLAST encourages students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and discover possibilities that extend far beyond the classroom.
